The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button tops global box office

London, Feb 10 (ANI): The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, starring Brad Pitt, has topped the global box office after raking in 22 million pounds in 47 markets at the weekend.
The film, directed by David Fincher, debuted at number one in the U.K., Spain and France, making it the second-biggest international opener of 2009, just behind Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.
Tom Cruise’’s World War II drama Valkyrie came second with 7.8 million pounds , with Disney’’s animated movie Bolt coming in third with PS6.8 million in 31 markets, reports the Daily Star.
Revolutionary Road, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, took 4.5 million pounds internationally.
Rounding off the top five was comedy film Bride Wars, which raked in 4.3 million pounds in 43 territories at the weekend. (ANI)
