July 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “Knight Rider” star David Hasselhoff is all set to become the object of fun and butt of harsh jokes in “The Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff” which will be aired on Comedy Central at 10 p.m. on August 15. The “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane is going to be the host as well as the roast master of the show. There would be many other celebrities and fellow comedians who will make jokes at the expense of David Hasselhoff and the channel anticipates that the show will attract audience owing to its innovative plot and comedy structure.

“The Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff has been announced by the channel and so far only Jeffrey Ross has confirmed that he will be one of the roasters. The other celebrities who have been named as roasters on the show are bonafide sex symbol Pamela Anderson, Hulk Hogan, Jerry Springer, Greg Giraldo, Whitney Cummings and many others. These celebrities will unleash their comedy venom on David Hasselhoff by relating various funny incidents or cracking jokes among themselves about the former “Baywatch” star.

“The Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff” will be taped at the Sony Studios in Los Angeles on August 1, 2010. The promo of the show has already been released where the actor is seen wearing his “Baywatch” beachwear and washing a car like his old “Knight Rider” model. The ad also features David Hasselhoff squeezing foams all over his body and biting into a cheeseburger. The ad itself has tickled the funny bones of the audience and the channel expects that the show will surely pull in audience due to its star-cast and format.
