The Comeback Performance of Britney Spears

Britney SpearsTuesday night in New Orleans was the night of Britney Spears. Spears in the opening night of her ‘Circus’ tour staged her comeback on the pop scenario as the ringmaster, mistress to be exact with a whip in her hand.

With her performance in the opening night showcasing a 90 minute extravaganza she renewed her claim to be one of the world’s most proficient harbingers of public interest.

The 90 minute show was a bespangled masterpiece; the big-top theme was very definitive to her latest album. The show did justice to the name ‘circus’, it had all the ingredients of a circus, from tricks to tramps, from clowns to magicians, from martial artists to acrobats and rings of fire ofcourse. The only thing that was missing was lions and elephants. But the absence of obedient animals in the cages was not felt for a single moment, Britney Spears made up for all of them.

The show began with the acrobatic performance by the Big Apple Circus. One female acrobat that was performing on the beam took a stumble, but she was back in a flash with a stunner of a back flip.

The director, Jamie King has taken care of all kinds incidental fumbles and stumbles. He has made sure that if in any situation the star is unstable, the best covering would be provided by surrounding the star will the backup troupe. Much like the music of Britney Spears that rests on backing track is all about added value.

However, not considering the opening-night fumbles and stumbles and most of the numbers in which the dancing of Spears was just average, the performance overall was a success.
