‘The Chronicles Of Riddick’ sequel on hold
October 30th, 2011 - 3:22 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Oct 30 (IANS) The latest installment of actor Vin Diesel’s “The Chronicles Of Riddick” franchise has been put on hold due to financial problems.
The actor had acted in 2000 sci-fi film, “Pitch Black”, and its 2004 spin-off, “The Chronicles of Riddick”. He also gave his voiceover for an animated follow-up, “The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury”, in the same year.
Diesel is working on another live action film in the franchise, but the shoot in Montreal has reportedly come to a halt over cashflow issues, reports tmz.com.
