Jan 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Biggest Loser premiered on Tuesday, January 4 on NBC (8-10 p.m.). Biggest Loser season 11 took off with a look at some of the most convincing characters this season. There is Arthur, who is 507 pounds, is the largest contestant ever. He is not the heaviest contestant though. The heaviest contestant ever was Michael Ventrella, the winner of Season-9 of Biggest Loser. There is Rulon, the Olympic gold medal wrestler. The viewers also got an obscure glimpse of two mystery trainers who would be training the contestants throughout.

It seems as if ‘American Idol’ is not the only reality show of the new year that has big changes in store. ‘The Biggest Loser’ premiered last night, coming back to its very accepted ‘Couples’ format, but just pairing up the contestants was not the only change from what had been last season. This time, it showed that the contestants had to choose between two pairs of trainers. Of course, the very popular pair of trainers was Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels who came back to the show, even though Jillian Michaels has declared that this is her last year. This pair of trainers was joined by another pair of new trainers. Because the show is ‘The Biggest Loser,’ it is out of the rule of the show to introduce the new trainers. Last night’s episode showed that the contestants had to choose either the pair of Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels or the new pair of trainers. It could be called an advantage to take a leap of faith.

This season of The Biggest Loser is coming up with a biggest reward that was ever given in any of the seasons of the show earlier. The 5 teams choosing the two new trainers would secure 4 weeks of Immunity! That sounds pretty tempting. This has a dilemma for all the contestants this season.
