Los Angeles, Jan 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ABC’s “Bachelor” opened this season with very low rating.

Many people attribute it to the fact that the show’s producers decided to bring Brad Womack back to the show. Many viewers were infuriated when Brad rejected the two women during the finale episode last season.

The show’s host Chris Harrison does not however believe that Brad is the reason why there are fewer ratings. He spoke to ETOnline. He said that since the program started, it has always opened with lower rating with the exception of when Rehn played the bachelor.

He revealed that he believes that with the strong discussion of the show on social sites like Twitter and Facebook as well as the discussions on radio, the viewers will be watching the show again.

When confronted why Chris L. was not chosen as the bachelor in spite of the popular call for him to be made so, Harrison explained that they were all considered and Brad was the best for the position.

Harrison said that it wouldn’t matter if Brad didn’t choose any of the ladies again. He said that whatever happens at the end of the show, Brad will still be seen as a great personality.
