‘The Artist’ wins best motion picture (musical or comedy)
January 16th, 2012 - 11:15 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Jan 16 (IANS) Michel Hazanavicius’s “The Artist”, which bagged the maximum Golden Globe nominations this year, walked away with the best motion picture - musical or comedy award at the ceremony here.
The French romantic drama, about a silent movie star George Valentin and his insecurity about the arrival of talking pictures, won the award against “50/50″, “Bridesmaids”, “Midnight In Paris” and “My Week With Marilyn”.
Ludovic Bource won the best original score - motion picture for the same film.
