‘The Artist’ bags Golden Globe for best original score

Los Angeles, Jan 16 (IANS) Music composer Ludovic Bource won the award for the best original score for the film ‘The Artist’ at the prestigious Golden Globes award ceremony here Sunday.

Bource beat Abel Korzeniowski for “W.E.”, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”, Howard Shore for “Hugo” and John Williams for “War Horse” to walk away with the trophy.

Directed by Michel Hazanavicius, the film is about a silent movie star George Valentin, who wonders if the arrival of talking pictures will cause him to fade into oblivion.
