don Mar 18 (Pen Men at Work): NBC has realized that the need to hire common people is greater than employing second-tier celebs. They have announced plans to bring back Donald Trump’s ‘The Apprentice’. The civilian version of the show used to air in 2004 and was then replaced by the Celebrity Apprentice.

According to Trump, since the economy went down, people have been discussing that it is important to get back the original. He feels the show will matter more now than it did before. He also thinks that this way they can do something about the economy and it’s a great way to provide jobs as well as business training to people. Along with NBC and Mark Burnett, he wants to help bring a turnaround in the economic downturn and he wants to be able to do his best to bring back ‘The Apprentice’.

Trump wants to see the change in the psychology of America once he starts to put people to work. In the revived ‘Apprentice’, 14 candidates, who have lost their jobs, or have jobs they don’t like or have just finished college with no job offers at present, will be recruited. Whoever wins gets a position with one of Trump’s companies. The rest will be advised on how to get their dream jobs at other places.

On ‘The Apprentice’, men and women from different backgrounds compete with each other by performing various business-oriented tasks. On the ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ though, actors, singers and athletes compete against each other to raise funds for charity.
