London, Jan 29 (ANI): British director Ridley Scott is set to produce a film version of hit 1980s TV series The A-Team, according to reports.
Industry paper Variety has claimed that Scott is keen on a remake with military vets Face, Hannibal, Murdoch and BA Baracus having fought in the Middle East rather than Vietnam.
The cult TV show starred George Peppard as Hannibal and Mr T as BA Baracus.
Joe Carnahan is lined up to direct with Bruce Willis and rapper Ice Cube possibly starring, reports the Sun.
The film is expected to hit cinemas next year.
Carnahan said he had been asked to make it as emotional, real and accessible as possible without cheesing it up. (ANI)
