Thandie Newton to try hand at writing screenplays

The Crash star, who is a mother of two, thinks the change in profession will suit her busy lifestyle, reports The Daily Star.
Speaking about her first project and how the step has helped her, she says, “It’s a comedy feature film. It’s been really nice to do that: be at home, be around the kids. It’s just a really nice lifestyle - I’ve been doing other, smaller jobs to supplement it and so on.
“Now I see why Ol’s been doing it for so long, it’s absolutely great.”
Newton’s husband, Ol Parker, is a writer too. (ANI)
