Thackeray visits Patekar for Ganeshotsav

Mumbai, Sep 21 (IANS) Respecting Nana Patekar’s request to grace the Ganesh festival celebrations at his home, Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray late Tuesday paid a visit to the actor’s residence here.
Patekar had some days back visited Thackeray’s residence and requested him to attend the evening ‘aarti’ to Lord Ganesh during the auspicious 10-day festival.
Thackeray, along with his son Uddhav and grandson Aditya, attended the ‘aarti’ and exchanged pleasantries with the actor and his family at his south-central Mumbai home.
The actor had also requested Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray, Bal Thackeray’s nephew, to grace the festivities. Raj had reportedly attended the celebrations two days back.
