TFPC drops down the regulated rules
November 6th, 2009 - 7:27 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire
With Tamil Film Producers Council withdrawing certain rules it had implemented in earlier sessions, it has relieved numerous producers from their tensions. Sources from Tamil Film Producers Council have officially announced that those decrees weren’t actually enforced, but merely discussed to see how far it would benefit the producers.
Since most of the producers didn’t extend their support, the council has withdrawn the regulations. Apparently, 6 Tamil films have been released this Friday –Palaivana Cholai, Saa Boo Thri, Vaidhegi, Karagam, Adhey Neram Adhey Idam, Kanna Nee Ennaku Thaan Da and Thambivudayan.
Accordingly, producers of big budget films are allowed to release their films on any Fridays (earlier, they were insisted to release only on Government holidays).
