Melbourne, June 11 (ANI): Actress Teri Hatcher left an elderly gentleman facing disappointment after turning down his offer of marriage at the opening of her animated film Coraline in Sydney.

The Desperate Housewives star made the revelation while stunning the crowd in a grey Zac Posen dress matched with patent red peep-toe heels at the Sydney Film Festival opening.

“Yeah, I was mostly terrified. Apparently that happens a lot here but it has never happened to me,” The Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling Confidential.

The stunner, who was accompanied by her daughter Emerson, further said she kept the 11-year-old from watching the series that won her critical acclaim.

She added: “We don’t watch a lot of TV in general and I also think she is too young.” (ANI)
