Telugu Movie Parents Launched At Taj Banjara, Hyderabad
August 3rd, 2010 - 6:40 pm ICT by Sampurn WireAugust 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Anand Ravi’s latest venture Telugu movie Parents has been launched on Sunday at Taj Banjara, Hyderabad. Well-known personalities form the Telugu films such as Thammareddy Bhardwaj, Sekhar Kammula, Samdatt, Sai Kiran, Krishnudu, and Adivi were present at the launch of the movie.
Actor Vamsi Krishna of Happy Days fame is starring in Parents. Delhi girl Ruchika Babbar is making her Telugu debut with this movie, in which she plays the female lead.
Speaking at the launch of the movie, Sekhar Kammula said, “Anand Ravi has earlier worked with my direction team for the successful movies like Happy Days, Godavari, and Avakai Biryani. The title Parents gives a good feel and I wish he keeps checking the budget regularly. I believe he makes a sincere and honest movie”.
Telugu film director and producer Sai Kiran Adivi, who was present at the launch, said, “I really felt jealous after hearing the script of Parents. I wondered why I could not make this kind of a film. Thammareddy Bhardwaj was also very impressed on hearing the script”.
Bhardwaj said, “The Telugu film industry has got great hopes from Sekhar Kammula. I am sure the movie will entertain the viewers. The team members in the movie have put in an honest effort, which is great to see”.
The director Anand Ravi said, “In this youthful love story, the lead actor will be looking for his parents. Whether the hero finds his parents and who are the parents constitute the suspense of the thriller. The film will start shooting from August 5. By September end, the shooting of the film is expected to end and we are thinking of releasing it in November”.
S.K. Balachandran has scored music for the movie and Vanamali has penned the lyrics. Shyamdat has done the cinematography part of the film.
