Teenage crush inspired McAvoy’s acting career
April 6th, 2010 - 6:18 pm ICT by ANIWashington, April 6 (ANI): Actor James McAvoy has said that it was a teenage crush that inspired him to take up acting.
McAvoy used to follow his dream girl to the drama classes, Contactmusic reported.
The 30-year-old Scottish was not interested in acting when he joined the cast but after he started liking Alana Brady, he joined her theatre classes just to stay in touch.
“I liked a girl on the set, Alana Brady, and I followed her to a drama group. From that I got a tiny bit more work and realised I could make a career out of drama,” McAvoy said.
“It’s nice that he remembered. We did both like each other but we were just teenagers. It was a long time ago,” Brady said. (ANI)
