It seems that the mother had not made the statement just for the sake of proving her dutiful. With the recent giant tattoo on her stomach, she is proving her words right. Yes, the reality show mom has got a tattoo of daughter Leah’s face on her torso. Now for some this may seem to be extremely strange while others may think of it as one more act to hog the limelight. What ever the case may be, Amber Portwood claims that the tattoo is simply a reflection of the intimate connection that she shares with daughter Leah.

According to sources, Amber Portwood got such a tattoo done on her torso to show how much committed she is towards her little angel, whom she believes to be everything for her. Rumors claim that Amber Portwood got the tattoo done during the time when her daughter was away from her. Her tiff with Leah’s father Gary Shirley on the MTV reality show had apparently resulted in a fight with Amber Portwood hitting him several times. However, later on, with tearful eyes she revealed on the re-union show that she could not recall exactly when she punched her former boyfriend.

Amber Portwood claims that the last few months when she had to live without Leah had been extremely painful for her. The separation of the mother and daughter had followed after Child Protective Services investigated her misconduct and kept the child under her father’s custody for some time.
