TBS & TNT bleep Natalie Portman’s SAG speech

Los Angeles, Jan 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The broadcasters of the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday had to bleep part of the speech of Natalie Portman after she accepted a prize.

TBS and TNT bleeped out a part of the speech that had a—hole in it. After receiving her award for her role in the highly successful 2010 movie, “Black Swan”, the actress said that, “My parents who taught me to work my hardest and never be an a—hole. It’s never acceptable.”

Once backstage, USA Today reports that Natalie’s attention was drawn to the bleep and she seemed unaware that she used such word in her speech.

The petit-size actress managed to scoop the best actress award with her performance in “Black Swan”. Other winners on the night during the show were Colin Firth who won the best actor with his performance in the British-history movie, “The King’s Speech”.

Christian Bale also won the best supporting actor award for his role in the “Black Swan.” The movie, “The King’s Speech” also won the best cast in a motion picture award.

Several other movie and TV personalities were awarded during the night.
