Taylor Swift Wins Favorite Country Female Artist At AMAs, Sings “Back To December”

Taylor SwiftNov 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American Country singer and songwriter Taylor Swift not only received award at American Music Awards 2010 but also swept the audience off their feet with her mind-blowing performance. The singer is presently basking in the glory of the success of her album “Speak Now” and she sang one of her song “Back to December” from the album. Taylor Swift dazzled at the red carpet and looked almost unrecognizable in her short rhinestone dress. The viewers saw that her curly hair has been straightened with beautiful short fringe. She wore black strapped sandals which completed her look.

Taylor Swift won Favorite Artist of the Year last year and this year she received award for Favorite Country Female Artist. The “Love Story” singer was excited and happy while receiving her award. In her acceptance speech she said that she wants to thank all her fans for their acceptance, loved and support. Later she performed “Back to December” for the audience which she performed in Country Music Awards. However, she made her song different by incorporating “Too Late to Apologize” in her song.

Before her performance she changed her dress and wore a black blazer with skinny black pants. While she was singing the song “Back to December” snow fell on the stage and the stage lights created a different ambiance on the stage. However, at the end of the performance she sang OneRepublic’s “Apologize” and she stood up from her chair and finished her song. About “Back To December” the singer previously had revealed that through the song she is apologizing to someone who was “incredible” to her but was unable to understand his worth when the person was in her life. Hence, it is believed she apologized to the person through that particular song of hers.
