New York, Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Selena Gomez joined country singer Taylor Swift on her “Speak Now” tour. The tour-wrap show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden turned out to be a sold out event.

Fans who got to the concert on Tuesday were thrilled when Swift called up Gomez to join her on the stage. The pair ended up doing their first ever duet together. The two gave out a rendition of Gomez’s track “Who Says?” and the performance sent the packed fans into wild jubilation.

When Gomez later got on the stage to give her own performance, she had changed her dress to that of Swift’s tour T-shirt. She later wrote on Twitter that Swift was her “best friend.”

Shortly after the show, Swift wrote on her Twitter page that, “I have so much to be thankful for this year. I’m leaving New York, replaying this tour in my mind. I love you all so much.”

Gomez’s tweet read, “Performing at Madison Square Garden with my best friend was a highlight.”

The pair were not the only performers of the night. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer James Taylor played his hit track “Fire and Rain” on the night. He performed the track with Swift and it was the first time that a duet of the track has been played.
