Dec.27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The year 2009 has been particularly good for Taylor Swift. She went on to win the MTV Best Female Video awards, a first for a country music singer. She also got her share of limelight at SNL and won the Country Music Entertainer of The Year. Taylor Swift also got linked to the teenage heart throb, hunky Taylor Lautner by the media and magazines. She is being seen as the darling of the media and her fan base is growing by leaps and bounds. Recently, she also got selected as the Associated Press entertainer of 2009. It is like an icing on the cake.

The singer is enjoying the fame and stardom. In a recent interview she said that she felt excited and really honored after being bestowed with so many awards. Her tour in North America was quite successful. Her eight songs got listed at the coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart, which is no small feat. She is still learning the steps of showbiz but it is clear that she is enjoying every bit of it. She had mixed luck at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The critics are full of praise for her and thinks she has the potential for staying a long time in the industry. She celebrated the Christmas with her family. In January next year she will scorch the stage at The Grammys. She has won the nomination for 8 awards. ‘Fearless’ is her favorite album and after completing it, she started working on her next. She has plans to raise the bars for herself in 2010.
