Taylor Swift scores five nominations at Academy of Country Music awards
March 4th, 2010 - 2:32 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 4 (ANI): Taylor Swift has landed five nominations at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards.
The singer will compete for female vocalist of the year, apart from artist and composer awards for her hit ‘You Belong With Me’.
Swift has also scored her first nomination for the awards’ highest honour - the entertainer of the year prize.
However, country trio Lady Antebellum, with seven nominations, is the leading contender, reports the BBC News.
The event is set to take place in Las Vegas on 18 April. (ANI)
