Taylor Swift honoured at BMI Pop Music Awards

London, May 20 (ANI): Taylor Swift has won yet another accolade as she was honoured at the BMI Pop Music Awards in Beverly Hills on Tuesday - the ‘Song of the Year’ award.
This makes Swift the youngest recipient of the award, which she won for her song ‘Love Story’ - just one day after she received the Artist of the Year Award at the NARM Music Business Association’s gala in Chicago, Illinois on Monday.
The Daily Star reported that the award for the ’songwriter of the year’ was presented to producer RedOne, for his work on Lady Gaga’s tracks Just Dance, Love Game and Poker Face, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Rocker John Fogerty was hailed as a BMI Icon and performed a set of solo songs and Creedence Clearwater Revival hits, reports the Daily Star.
Earlier BMI icons include James Brown, Dolly Parton, the Bee Gees and Paul Simon. (ANI)
