Taylor Lautner once feared Twilight fans would “tear him to shreds”
December 5th, 2010 - 2:50 pm ICT by ANIWellington, Dec 5 (ANI): ‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner has revealed that he once feared fans would “tear him to shreds”.
The 18-year-old heartthrob is best known for playing Jacob Black in the hugely popular Twilight movie franchise alongside Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
Scenes for the upcoming installments of the vampire movie have been filmed in the central Lapa district of Brazil, and Taylor has revealed he and Kristen had a scary incident in their hotel room after a day of shooting.
“In Brazil hundreds of fans stormed the hotel Kristen and I were in. We hid in this little room for 45 minutes waiting for the SWAT team to arrive,” the Stuff.co.nz quoted him as telling more! magazine.
“We said to each other, ‘What if they get into this room? They’ll tear us to shreds!’” he said.
Twilight is considered one of the most successful franchises of recent years, with teenage girls going mad for handsome beefcake Taylor and brooding British star Robert.
The film will conclude in two installments; Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Part 2.
Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is set for release at the end of next year and will be followed by Part 2 at the end of 2012. (ANI)
