Dirgham Salahi, the father of the Tareq Salahi has passed away. Reports suggest that the father of the reality star was in his mid-80s and the cause of death has not been made public. Michaele Salahi took to her social networking account to pass on the message and also paid an emotional tribute to her father-in-law. She also posted a picture of her with her father- in-law dancing with her at the wedding.

Michaele Salahi said on her Facebook page that she was heartbroken that Dirgham Salahi passed away as he was someone she loved and learned from. The publicity hungry couple were seen rather private in times of grief as Michaele Salahi said that the grief should not be a spectacle but rather a private meditation. She also said that she was aware of the fact that members of her family were the interest of the media for various reasons but said that she would prefer if the media allowed privacy to the family at this time. She said that she does not want any of the media persons to be present at the time of the funeral or other rituals.

Michaele and Tareq Salahi have often found themselves to be the center of media attention ever since they gatecrashed into the White House dinner. The couple also star in the reality show ‘Real Housewives of DC’. Michaele Salahi is often seen at odds with the rest of the cast of the show for her strong and rather unique personality. Recently a website reported that only two out of 200 autographed photos of the couple in the White House have been sold online.
