Tarantino’’s Inglorious Basterds to hit US theatres on Aug 21

Melbourne, Jan 5 (ANI): Quentin Tarantino’’s latest film, a World War II epic Inglourious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt, will release in the US on August 21.
The movie, also featuring Mike Myers and Diane Kruger, is about a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as The Basterds, who spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The Basterds come into contact with a French-Jewish teenage girl who works in a theatre in Paris, where an infatuated German war hero persuades his superiors to screen their latest propaganda film.
The film also features Samuel L Jackson as narrator. Universal Pictures is handling international distribution.
International release dates will be announced shortly. (ANI)
