Tannishtha first Indian to co-host APSA
November 17th, 2011 - 3:58 pm ICT by IANS New Delhi, Nov 17 (IANS) Actress Tannishtha Chatterjee, who earned international acclaim for her work in “Brick Lane” and German movie “Shadows of Time”, will co-host the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) this year.
This is said to be the first time that an Indian will be host the event to be held at Gold Coast, Australia, at the end of this month. The date has yet to be announced.
The actress was in the APSA jury last year.
As far as films are concerned, Tannishtha is going places — her latest movie, “Dekh Indian Circus”, won the best film award at the Busan Film Festival. She will also be seen in Joe Wrights next “Anna Karenina” with Jude Law and Keira Knightley.
