July 16, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Robbie Williams seemed excited at the prospect of rejoining with ‘Take That’ after years and years of speculation. He is all set to record his first album in 15 years with the band.

Williams declared that it felt just like coming back home and was eager to become a five some once again. The old footages of the teenage pin ups were again broadcast last night in order to commemorate the event.

The entire band consisting of five members now have joined hands for writing the new material for their next album. The album is likely to come out sometime in November.

Mark Owen, one of the other members of the band, also expressed his delight at Robbie rejoining the team once again. “It seems just like a dream come true.” He stated. “However, I’m still the better footballer,” he added, providing a bit of humor.

Jason Orange, too expressed his joy at having Williams back but seemed to take it all with a pinch of salt. He said that he was over the moon at the prospect and didn’t know how long it would last. He also said that life was beautifully strange at times.

Robbie Williams had abandoned the band back in 1995 when his alcohol and drug abuse problems got the better of him. His relationship with the writer in the team detoriated beyond redemption too.

The group had been on a downslide since then with the band disintegrating in 1996. Williams was, however, not the loser. He went solo and became a big success with his 1997 hit song Angels which was followed by the huge contract of 80 million pounds with the EMI.
