London, Feb 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have declared that they would be suing a newspaper for publishing false reports of their split, and hence giving rise to the rumors. The newspaper had published reports claiming that the most famous couple of Hollywood is headed towards a split. In fact, the report had been a very well detailed one, with the newspaper even claiming that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had seen a lawyer about the split, and the subsequent division of their property and the custody of the children, biological and adopted.

The newspaper had also alleged that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were on very bitter terms, with things getting worse between them. According to the lawyer of the couple, Keith Schilling, the tabloid had been asked to apologize, but they had failed to do so, following which the decision of the court case has been taken. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have also asked the newspaper to retract the article, claiming that it has caused ample damage to their image, as it has already been widely published since then.

According to the firm of which Keith Schilling is part of, Schillings Lawyers, the divorce lawyer whom the couple was allegedly seeing, Sorrell Trope, claimed that he had never even met Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, leave alone being hired by them. He also confirmed that none of the other lawyers in the firm had been in touch with the couple either. The complaint has been filed with the High Court in London. The newspaper has not commented on the matter, but they have brought proceedings.
