Nov. 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The second season of ‘Tabatha’s Salon Takeover’ has brought Tabatha Coffey to the ‘Orbit Salon’ in Chicago. Tabatha is a Shear Genius contestant and owns salons in New Jersey. The show is pretty similar to ‘Kitchen Nightmares’, of the Fox Broadcasting.

The Orbit Salon has a cluttered premise and lazy staff. Even the owner of the salon does not have any passion and is under a heavy amount of debt. The salon is situated near Wrigley Field in Lakeview. Tabatha says, that Eddie (the owner of the filthy Orbit salon), has a number of good products which are not being used and are collecting dust in the basement, and that his “incredible retail area” is not selling the way it should. She says, “You’ll see the level of service is extraordinarily bad. And it’s never ok for a client to see a salon filled with gunk. At orbit, everyone knew about the filth and turned the other way.” She went on to describe how the salon workers were all younger to her and that they were very ” hip and cool”. Coffey also says that the show has helped her own salon do quite well with their increasing customer base.

The show is based on a concept that has the host, Coffey, who is the owner of her own businesses (New jersey), traveling to different salons that are in dire need of a makeover and change them into their old glorious selves. She goes to 10 salons in Chicago, Miami and L.A and provides them help in the department of style and business. The show features on Bravo network (10.00 PM).
