Swift battles emotions by writing songs
June 4th, 2010 - 1:28 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 4 (IANS) Country singer Taylor Swift says she copes with her emotions by writing songs.
“Everyone in my life knows whenever something happens, the only way it’s going to be over and finished and put to bed is if it’s written about,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Swift, who was infamously dumped by pop singer Joe Jonas on the phone, as saying.
“Right now, the number one priority in my life is figuring out how to process what I’m feeling and translate it into musical form,” she added.
The 20-year-old was recently named Artist of the Year by the National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM).
