‘Swamp People’ star Trapper Joe arrested for assault and battery
June 22nd, 2012 - 7:08 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattFlorida, June 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘Swamp People’ star Trapper Joe is in hot waters. Apparently he has been arrested on charges of assault and battery. There are reports that he wanted to burn his girlfriend with a cigarette. He also engaged in domestic violence.
There are also witnesses to the incident and one of them told the police officials that Trapper Joe and his girlfriend were at the Buena Vista Hotel and Spa and they would of them were imbibing alcoholic drinks. Soon they started arguing and then Trapper assaulted her.
Trapper Joe punched her in the chest and when she protested then he tried to mark her with a cigarette. He also shook her up violently, as he wasn’t very happy with her protests.
The police were called in and they arrested Trapper Joe, or Noces Joseph LaFont Jr. He was booked for assault and in landed up in the Orange County jail. Noces Joseph was soon released but he had to pay up a fine of $50.
It is not known whether his girlfriend has broken up with him or not.
