Actress Susan Sarandon has split with Tim Robbins. They had been together for more than 20 years.

Susan is the person, who is the most surprised by the split. After being together for more than two decades, Susan never thought that they would ever split. However now she is heartbroken over the split.

She said about the split that, “People were coming up to me in the street and saying, ‘I cried and cried when I heard.’ Well, I was sadder! I didn’t think it would ever happen, either.”

As to the reason about the split, Susan clarified that they simply ran out of love for each other. She said that people enter relationships for varying reasons and sometimes people are in a relationship just to have children. And when that need is fulfilled then people drift apart, start taking each other for granted and finally they split.

There are also rumors that Susan is dating her business partner Jonathan Brickman. He is way younger than her, as he is just 31 years old. If the rumors are true then she is a cougar for sure!
