Los Angeles, Dec.24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon has reportedly split with her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins. Teal Cannady, the publicist of the much acclaimed actress revealed recently that the couple have finally decided to end their relationship after spending years together. However, intrinsic details regarding the reasons for their sudden split has not been available.

Although, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have not tied the knot in their 23 years together, the couple was known as one of the most endearing couple of Hollywood. The news of the unexpected separation of the much loved couple has sent shock waves in the Hollywood fraternity as they were known for their steady relationship for years. Moreover, the couple also have two sons together, 20 year old Jack Henry, and 17 year old Miles Guthrie.

Meanwhile, the 63 year old actress had expressed earlier that she decided against walking down the aisle with Tim Robbins even after being together for so many years, as she feared that getting married would allow them to take the relationship for granted. The status of their relationship was being speculated for quite some time now, as reportedly the actress had refused to comment about her partner in few recent events. However, the news of separation was something that all the fans of the star couple were surely not anticipating.

Susan Sarandon had met the 51 year old actor while shooting for the film “Bull Durham” which released way back in the year 1988. Apart, from their illustrious film careers, during their time together the power couple were also involved in political as well as social activism.
