Susan Boyle’s album ‘I dreamed a dream’ is the best selling album of 2009, both in the UK and in the US. She had stiff competition in US, in the form of Rihanna and Adam Lambert, but she beat them hollow, with her album sales scaling new heights. In the UK, she beat Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon to emerge as the top selling artist of the year.

Susan Boyle says that she is no longer depressed and is now happier than she has ever been after a “brilliant year”.
