Susan Boyle’s Airport Collapse Blamed On Heat

London, Feb 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Susan Boyle, the singer who caused Simon’s jaw to drop, collapsed at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday morning. It was blamed on the heat.
Susan, who is 48 years old, is well remembered as the “Britain’s got talent star which shocked Simon and the world when she opened her mouth to sing. She was waiting to get on board a flight to France at Heathrow Airport, in the British Airways Club, and fainted. According to onlookers, “It was very dramatic. Susan’s legs just gave way under her and she went down.”
Susan was treated by medics and then hurried to catch her flight to Nice, after being cleared to fly. Fans have been chattering lately about their fears that Susan was not taking care of herself, and was overworked. Perhaps their fears stem from the fact that last year Susan collapsed from exhaustion and was sent to a private clinic. There she was hospitalised, in the London clinic, because of emotional weakness. Many have said she was simply overwhelmed by the extremity of the fame that one can obtain from these reality shows such as Britain’s to Talent and “American Idol.”
A spokesperson for Susan had this to say “Susan did faint at Heathrow as she overheated in the lounge because it was so warm. However, she is fine now and gave a fantastic performance at the festival.”
Susan did later perform at the 60th San Remo Festival.
