Susan Boyle will sing for the Pope

August 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): According to latest news reports, Susan Boyle the famous British singer is slated to sing for Pope Benedict XVI during her tour of Britain. Susan said that she is honored to get this rare opportunity to sing before the Pope and she will try to make the best.
The Roman Catholic Church confirmed the news and said that the singer will perform a number of hymns before “The Holiness”. Boyle will be supported by an 800-strong choir and the event will take place at the open-air papal mass in Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park on September 16.
This is the first papal tour of Britain since Pope John Paul II came in 1982 and it will last for four days. The “Les Miserables” song has been her claim to fame and Boyle is now considered one of the biggest talents of the music industry. Singing for the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church is a huge honor for any artist and only a few have received it in the past.
Susan Boyle will sing “I Dreamed A Dream”, the song that catapulted her to fame and glory at the TV show “Britain’s Got Talent”. Scotland’s The Daily Record reported that the Singer considers the invitation to sing for the Pope as her greatest dream come true.
