Susan Boyle wants to leave mourners laughing at her funeral
June 2nd, 2010 - 5:27 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 2 (ANI): Susan Boyle is toying with the idea of leaving mourners smiling when she goes to the grave - the Scottish singing sensation says she could have novelty tune Nellie The Elephant as one of her farewell songs.
“You’ve got to leave them laughing. It would have to be Nellie The Elephant. She packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus,” the Daily Express quoted Boyle, as telling the Radio Times.
“Funerals don’t have to be sad - Peter Sellers made me smile with In The Mood, so I could do it with Nellie The Elephant,” she added. (ANI)
