“America’s Got Talent” seems to promise much for the viewers this season with more talents flocking in for the auditions as a response to the success of Susan Boyle in the show “Britain’s Got Talent”.

Susan Boyle, who had apparently participated in the “Britain’s Got Talent” series earlier, was criticized by the judges for her frumpy appearance in “Britain’s Got Talent”. Her appearance in the UK based show had earned her millions of fan base as his performance was witnessed with millions of You Tube hits. After placing second in the competition, the singer was hospitalized for exhaustion.

Piers Morgan, one of the judges of “America’s Got Talent” remembered the day when he sat with his fellow judges during the “Britain’s Got Talent” season auditions. That was the first time that the celebrity judge got to witness Boyle. Morgan has reportedly said that the auditions at the Glasgow, Scotland was a torrid one, as most of those who came for the auditions were way below the mark.

Morgan then witnessed a frumpy, un-kept looking woman of a certain age striding to the stage. Initially, as Morgan says, the judges thought the woman won’t be able to sing any thing at all. Later on, the lady’s outstanding performance left the judges amazed and astonished. Co incidentally the woman in question was no other than Boyle.

Remembering the experience, Morgan says, “One thing I have learned about this show is too expect the unexpected. We were not expecting her to sing at all. We all thought she was going to be like all the other acts we had seen that day. What we were not expecting was that she would have this incredible voice.”

Morgan hinted that Boyle might make an appearance in “America’s Got Talent” this season.
