August 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Scottish singer Susan Boyle, who became popular as a contestant on reality TV show “Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2009, is going to get her wax statue at the Madame Tussauds Museum.

With this the “I Dreamed a Dream’ star has made a place beside the Hollywood celebrities. The 49 year old singer has already been measured for her wax statue. The tabloids gave her the nickname “hairy angel’ for her dull appearance.

The very first album of Susan titled “I Dreamed A Dream’ earned her a fortune of USD 15 million. The work on her wax model has already started and will be displayed later this year at the London tourist hotspot.

According to a source close to Boyle, “Susan is very excited about this. It’s unbelievable to her. Even in her wildest dreams, the singer had never thought to get a place at Madame Tussauds”.

Susan’s wax model will replicate her off-duty look with casual clothes, untidy hair, and little make up. The popularity of the singer among American tourists have made the wax museum to go for her statue.

Entering the industry in 2009, Susan has sold more than ten million albums. She has reportedly started working on a Christmas album for the coming holiday season.

The wax figure of Susan will reportedly cost around $200,000 to give it the full-fledged shape.
