Susan Boyle ’starts work on debut album’
June 12th, 2009 - 2:43 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 12 (ANI): Britain Got Talent star Susan Boyle has reportedly started working on her debut album and will try to bring it out by Christmas.
Boyle, who was the runner-up on the show, sat in central London studio with producers from Simon Cowell’s record company, Sony Music.
The record is set to be “musical themed” - reflecting Susan’s love of West End stage shows.
She is likely to sing a duet with her idol Elaine Paige for the new album.
And her BGT song ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ from Les Miserables is likely to be the opening track.
“Wednesday was Susan’s first day as a recording artist - she had a brilliant time,” the Sun quoted an insider as saying.
“She talked about what songs she wanted for the album - it’s going to be a case of trying to pin her down to her favourite ten or so,” the insider added.
