London, December 9 (ANI): Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle lived her dream as she sang a duet with her idol Elaine Paige.

The Scottish singer and the West End legend took to the stage with the classic track I Know Him So Well for a Piers Morgan special I Dreamed A Dream: The Susan Boyle Story.

“I never thought I’d see myself standing on the same stage with such an icon from the West End theatre, let alone singing with her as an equal,” the Sun quoted Susan as saying.

“I’ve really enjoyed myself and I’m really enjoying the show. I don’t want the dream to end. In fact I want it to become a reality,” she added.

The 48-year-old spinster shot to international stardom after performing a jaw-dropping rendition of audition song “I Dreamed a Dream” on the talent show earlier this year.

Her debut album sold 701,000 copies in its first seven days to top the US album chart and she is reportedly set to perform privately for US President Barack Obama and his family at First Lady Michelle’s 46th birthday at the White House. (ANI)
