Susan Boyle shuns Scottish roots for London flavour
August 6th, 2009 - 12:19 pm ICT by ANILondon, August 6 (ANI): Susan Boyle has said she wants to continue living in London and has no plans to return to her hometown in Scotland.
The “Britain’s Got Talent” singing sensation was said to be a regular church goer and barely stepped out of Blackburn before appearing on the talent show.
But the songbird seemed to have turned her back on West Lothian after recording an album in the British capital.
“I’ll go back to visit but you have to move on,” The Mirror quoted her telling American magazine Harper’s Bazaar.
She added: “It will take a bit of adjusting to because I’ve led a sheltered life. I’ve got life experience but mentally I have to adjust. But it’s all good, it’s all good.” (ANI)
