London, May 11 (ANI): Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle has revealed that she is no longer lonely and has millions of friends now, thanks to her overnight stardom.
The 48-year-old had stunned all with her jaw-dropping performance of the Les Miserables song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ on the talent show, which won her many fans all over the world, including US President Barack Obama.
The church volunteer from Scotland, who had previously said that she had never been kissed or had a boyfriend, had been approached by chat show queen Oprah Winfrey since her debut performance.
The singing sensation is set to appear on Oprah’s special show The World’s Got Talent.
Oprah was said to have probed the singer, who lives alone with her cat Pebbles, about her single status, asking her if she felt lonely.
“Oh no. I am not lonely. Everyone has been so nice. I’ve got millions of new friends now,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying. (ANI)
