Susan Boyle says post-breakdown rehab stint was necessary
November 18th, 2009 - 2:17 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington, Nov 18 (ANI): Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle insists that her post-breakdown rehab stint was necessary.
The Scottish singer checked herself into the Priory Hospital in London a day after she finished second on Britain’s Got Talent in May (09) - because she was exhausted after suffering from insomnia.
Although she spent three days in the rehab facility, Boyle told Britain’s OK! magazine that she’s happy with the decision to seek professional help.
“I don’t really remember much about it. After the final I went there with extreme exhaustion. I hadn’t slept properly for about a week and I didn’t know what was wrong with me,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
“I was in there for three days and I’ve never felt so tired, but I look back on it now and it was a necessity. I wanted to get a rest and a break, without all the cameras,” she added. (ANI)
