New York, July 20 (ANI): Britain’s Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle has had a significant makeover ever since she made an appearance on the show.

Boyle, 48, has left behind her frumpy spinster-style look for chic sophistication, and her new look can be viewed on NBC’s ‘Today Show’ and ‘America’s Got Talent’, set to air July 22.

“You look gorgeous, I’m loving the hair!” the New York Daily News quoted Meredith Vieira as saying during the interview, admiring her chesnut-coloured tresses and elegant aubergine frock.

Boyle replied bashfully: “I brush up quite well.”

Celebrity hair stylist Mark Garrison has also given his approval to the new look.

“She went from hometown hokey to suburban chic. She went from looking like a granny to a real looker now. I love it!” he said.

“What Not to Wear” fashion cop Stacy London also gave Boyle’s new look a qualified thumb’s up.

“Her hair cut is more modern and appropriate. The make-up seems a bit overdone. Purple is a good color for her eye skin and hair! Less dowdtastic by far!” she said. (ANI)
