Susan Boyle faints in Heathrow airport heat
February 19th, 2010 - 3:40 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )London, Feb 19 (IANS) “Britain’s Got Talent” star Susan Boyle collapsed at the Heathrow Airport just as she was ready to board a flight to France earlier this week.
The Scottish singer fainted after becoming overheated in British Airways Club Lounge and had to be given medical attention, reports thesun.co.uk.
“Susan did faint at Heathrow as she overheated in the lounge because it was so warm. However, she is fine now and gave a fantastic performance at the festival,” said Boyle’s spokesperson.
An eyewitness said: “It was very dramatic. Susan’s legs just gave way under her and she went down.”
Boyle, 45, was later deemed fit to travel and boarded her planned flight to Nice.
