London, Feb 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The singing sensation Susan Boyle collapsed at the Heathrow Airport in London on Tuesday. She fainted when she was on her way to Nice. According to reports, she fainted inside the British Airways Club Lounge. She was promptly given medical attention, and was then allowed to board the plane. She arrived in Nice, and then traveled to the border, where she even performed at Italy’s San Remo Festival, which some people said that it was ‘brave’ of her.

A spokesman for Susan Boyle confirmed the incident. He said that, “Susan did faint at Heathrow, as she overheated in the lounge because it was so warm. However, she is fine now and gave a fantastic performance at the festival.” One witness to the incident at the British Airways Club Lounge described her collapsing incident as very dramatic. He said that, “It was very dramatic. Susan’s legs just gave way under her and she went down.”

It may be recalled that Susan Boyle had earlier revealed that she has got psychological scars from being bullied in school. ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ singing sensation Susan Boyle was bullied in school, so she suffers from depression. The Sun reported that the Scottish singer Susan Boyle, whose debut album, ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ has proved a huge success, has said she suffers from bouts of anger and mood swings. She said, “I can be up and down like a yo-yo. I can be depressed. I know I’m taking a big chance telling people this but you have to be honest. I used to be made a fool of at school. It was psychological bullying and that leaves a scar and it also cultivates a lot of anger.”
