‘Survivor: Redemption Island’ To Premiere Next Year With A New Twist

suDec 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) With the grand finale of the 21st season of the hit CBS reality series “Survivor” reaching its conclusion last night with Jud ‘Fabio’ Birza being announced as the winner of the edition, the ardent fans of the show are already counting days for the premiere of the next season. In the finale of the this year’s season which was aired last night, host Jeff Probst further accentuated the hype surrounding the season 22 of the reality series when he stated that in the upcoming segment, the viewers would get to witness a major change in the gameplay that is sure to blow off their minds.

In the forthcoming edition of the CBS reality series which has been titled ‘Survivor: Redemption Island’, the contestants who would be eliminated from the show would be given another opportunity to enter the game after they are sent to a redemption island. The eliminated contestants would have to compete with each other and whoever is able to defeat the opponent will be able to register a slot in the CBS program once again. With host Jeff Probst describing the upcoming season as a ‘massive format change,’ all the regular viewers of the show are waiting eagerly to catch the segment which is slated to make its debut on February 16 next year.

The 22 season of ‘Survivor’ was shot between the month of August to December this year and the location of the upcoming edition remains same as the previous season- the San Juan del Sur Beach in Nicaragua. The extensive viewership that the latest segment of the CBS reality series has received, it would not be surprising if season 22 also turns out to be a huge hit.
