‘Survivor Jennifer Lyon’ dies an untimely death at 37 years of age

Oregon, Jan 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Lyon who was a contestant on the Palau leg of the famous reality show ‘Survivor’ has died an untimely death at the age of 37. She was suffering from breast cancer since 2005. She died on 19th January, with her family beside her at her residence in Oregon. She had appeared in 2005 in the Survivor reality show, and she was placed fourth on the show.
Jennifer Lyon was a very dynamic and an active person. After her stint on Survivor she became all the more appreciative about the beauty of life, and also the importance of accepting the final end of life, as a mortal being. Her stint on Survivor gave her a lot of courage to accept her situation and live her life to the fullest. She was also instrumental in organizing several fund raising events for the cause of breast cancer research. One of her fellow contestants on Survivor said that she had always been a charming and graceful personality, strong and brave.
Her sister Kim Lyon says that, “Jenn worked so hard on the lot and they were kind of bummed they didn’t make much money off of it so if anyone wants to honor Jenn they can make a donation to the foundation. She would be touched.”
